The fatal bug in DesktopX 3.5 056
When it will be finally finished?

DesktopX
Today I have installed DesktopX 3.5 056 through Impulse.
Alas
the Script Editor
has ceased to work. Now it doesn't load any scripts (not only from my old projects but from Tutorial DX Objects too) and I'm very sad and disappointed again...

Thank you for your answer!
I understand that this is a complicated problem. And I'm always ready to help you work on it in any ways.
But I have no time to wait until it will be fixed. So I'll begin to make my own WMP Control by using timers. Hope that it will not take a lot of PC resources like CPU and Memory...

Just to bump this along. Have done the quick recent updates and am now on version 3.50.059 and have tried the DLL fix.
Most of my widgets will not run.
My favourite widget is SD_Clock_3.01 and that is stuck at the time I updated yesterday. Have also found that most widgets no longer run.
Does anybody have any ideas as I tried going back to an earlier version with no success?

suki750 what I did was make sure no widgets or objects were running, uninstalled DesktopX, rebooted, reinstalled and ran the fix in reply #9 before starting any up DesktopX and it cleared the problem.
If you still have problems you might go clear the widget and object cache for those that are giving you a problem. That seemed to help someone else.

Don't use Impulse to update DesktopX (I tried two times and has the same problems. Moreover it doesn't install the pro version...). Do this through Stardock Central.
I have already installed version 3.50.016. It works perfect.

What is it "XP"?
This is one of ancient Operating Systems that has been forgotten long ago?
(little joke)
But if seriously have you already tried to use this version of DX on XP?

Here at Stardock we are all looking forward to Windows Codename XP, which promises better performance than the current version of Windows, as well as lower system requirements and greater compatibility with existing applications.

I have this problem too. I've tried replacing the dll in reply #9, and now the script editor loads but it doesn't load the script.
Please, can anyone help?

Can do what you have suggested just fine but where do I find the widget and object cache?
